Investment Criteria
Antares investment criteria is focused on providing growth equity capital to firms headquartered in the Southeast and Texas. We will also consider management led buyout opportunities with similar characteristics:

Experienced management with relevant industry or market experience capable of growing the firm

Proven business model with revenues of $1 million to $25 million and above average gross margins

Large and growing market with an opportunity to build a larger company providing the same products and services as currently being offered

Modest capital requirements to achieve growth

Headquartered in the Southeast or Texas

Clear exit strategy
We will also consider special situations such as buyouts of minority shareholder positions, in which the management team desires an equity oriented, experienced partner be involved with the company.
Antares provides only equity investments, usually in the $500,000 to $5 million range.
There are no industry restrictions, although Antares Capital does not invest in real estate, mineral exploration, distributors, franchisees, or project financings.
